Okay, I admit that one of my previous passwords is on this list. I have long ago changed that password to something a bit more challenging; yet, this list demonstrates how easy it is to become complacent over creating a secure link to our personal information.

This list comes from Splashdata. You can check out the complete list at http://bit.ly/uAf2B2  If your password is one of those listed below, you might think about changing it.

1.   password

3.   12345678

4.   qwerty

5.   abc123

6.   monkey

  1. Gerri Bowen says:

    No, not on there. 🙂

    • These are the lazy man’s passwords. Unfortunately, I have so many different ones, that I have to keep a list, especially for those sites I visit infrequently.

  2. Chelsea K. says:

No, I am glad to say that none of my passwords are on that list either.

  3. Diane P. Diamond says:

    Nope, mine arn’t there either.

    • You are the smart one, Diane. When my web mistress set up my website, she used one of this for the initial log in. I admit that I foolishly did not change it for several months. Of course, that was some three years prior.

  4. Diane P. Diamond says:

    aren’t (sorry)
