July 4, 1776 – Meet the Signers of the Declaration of Independence

Today, I am catching up on some writing time, but I thought some of you might wish a second chance to explore my pieces on the Signers of the Declaration of Independence. It took me a little over a year to compile these stories. Enjoy!

  1. Fantastic research, Regina. I have followed this series but certainly have not read all the posts, so this is a wonderful reference for me to keep and catch up on those I’ve missed. I hope you will not eliminate the posts from your blog. At least not until I can finish reading them. Thanks for these gems!

    • I rarely eliminate posts from my blog, La Deetda. I do occasionally update them, but I will not be doing away with this series. The Jeffers family is a small branch on Thomas Jefferson’s family tree.

  2. Paula says:

Thank you for all the effort and care that went into these, Regina. Reading these bios sure does explain a lot about our country.

  3. Jennifer Redlarczyk says:

I just read John Adams and Ben Franklin and will have to come back and read more. Your bios remind me of when my son and I visited Boston some years back and walked the Freedom trail. With B. Franklin the thing that always comes to mind is his glass harmonica. We saw one at one of the Smithsonian museums in DC. When I taught Music Appreciation I found Mozart wrote two pieces for the Glass Harmonica (Armonica). Here is a link to one and it shows some interesting pictures. I’ll have to come back and read more. Jen https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8OPJPvqeqWs

    • Thanks for sharing the link, Jen. I will check it out after I finish edits. I am adding 20 of my titles to Kindle Select, but I am going through each to update them, etc. It is time consuming, but I prefer to present a good product to my readers.
